I purchased this product because I want to make pasta sauces and also jellies. In making jellies, you need to squeeze out the pulp and seeds. In making pasta sauces, the seeds and skins of the tomatoes are filtered out.The quality stainless steel material along with the ease of grip design while using I believe makes this food mill a great buy.

Great Human Powered Producer of Puree

I purchased this mill because my little sister is on a puree diet & I wanted to be prepared for those rare days of power outages. I'm glad that I have been playing around with it under more optimal conditions as I do feel there is a learning curve to achieve to results I need, now though I feel fully prepared to rough it if & when needed for my special sister. It has held up to irregular use well so far.
